As the Australian summer approaches, the marine industry has witnessed a significant shift in consumer interest, with Sea-Doo emerging as the most-searched marine brand in the fourth quarter of 2025.
According to Retain Media's Q4 2025 Marine Market Brand Consideration Report, Sea-Doo captured 11.2% of search queries, marking a substantial 51.4% increase from the previous quarter's 7.4%.

This surge underscores the seasonal nature of the personal watercraft (PWC) market, as enthusiasts gear up for summer activities. Sea-Doo's performance in Q4 2025 not only surpasses its Q1 baseline of 10.4% but also highlights the brand's effective strategies in capturing peak seasonal demand.

Yamaha maintained its position as the second most-searched marine brand, holding 8.2% of search queries. Despite a slight decline of 7.9% from Q3's 8.9%, Yamaha continues to lead in the outboard motor category, demonstrating consistent consumer interest throughout the year.

Mercury Marine secured the third spot with 6.5% of searches, experiencing a 5.8% decrease from Q3's 6.9%. While trailing behind Yamaha, Mercury Marine's steady presence indicates a loyal customer base and sustained brand recognition.

For prospective jet ski owners, these trends offer valuable insights into market dynamics and brand popularity. Understanding which brands are leading in consumer interest can inform purchasing decisions, especially when considering factors such as resale value, availability of parts, and community support.
