Grapple, a leading provider of invoice financing solutions, has announced the acquisition of Spenda's invoice finance portfolio.
This strategic move is set to bolster Grapple's presence in the Australian SME financing market and expand its customer base.

Since its inception in mid-2021, Grapple has financed over half a billion dollars in invoices, demonstrating robust activity in the sector. The acquisition of Spenda's portfolio is expected to enhance Grapple's market growth by introducing new geographic and sectoral presences to its lending portfolio.

Stephen T. Dawson, CEO and Founder of Grapple, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting its complementary nature and the opportunity to deliver enhanced services to new customers. He also noted that the terms of the deal are structured to ensure a smooth transition of Spenda's clients to Grapple.

In addition to the acquisition, Grapple is introducing new AI functionalities into its invoice financing platform. These enhancements aim to assist operational users with technical lending advice, perform real-time checks on portfolio metrics, and conduct contract and invoice validity assessments, among other features.

For Australian SMEs, this development signifies improved access to innovative invoice financing solutions, enabling them to manage cash flow more effectively and support business growth.
