Australian Off Road (AOR), a renowned Queensland-based manufacturer of off-road hybrid caravans, has proudly marked its 25th year in the industry.
This significant milestone reflects AOR's commitment to quality and innovation in the Australian caravan market.

Throughout 2025, AOR maintained its production levels, delivering approximately 180 campers to customers across Australia and the United States. This consistency underscores the brand's dedication to meeting the growing demand for durable and reliable off-road caravans.

AOR's achievements in 2025 include being honoured as the People's Choice RV Manufacturer of the Year at the National Caravan Industry Association Awards. This accolade highlights the company's reputation and the trust it has built among caravan enthusiasts.

In terms of product development, AOR introduced the Sierra 2.0, an enhanced version of its entry-level pod camper. Priced from $54,900, the Sierra 2.0 boasts features such as a larger 80L fridge cavity, expanded kitchen bench space, lightweight aluminium cabinetry, and a new electrical layout that provides additional storage under the bed. These improvements cater to the evolving needs of off-road travellers seeking comfort and functionality.

Embracing technological advancements, AOR launched ChatAOR AI, Australia's first AI chatbot dedicated to off-road support. This 24/7 emergency assistance service aims to provide immediate and reliable support to AOR customers, enhancing their overall experience.

Looking ahead, AOR plans to pause orders for its higher-priced Aurora, Sinergi, and Quantum Full Height hybrid caravan models from February 2026 for a two-year period. This strategic decision will allow the company to focus on upcoming projects, model development, and production planning, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality off-road campers.

As AOR celebrates this significant milestone, it remains committed to innovation and customer satisfaction, promising exciting developments for the Australian caravan industry in the years to come.
