To assist Australians in navigating the complex home loan market, Finder has announced the winners of its Home Loans Awards for 2026.
These awards highlight the top-performing mortgage products and lenders across 15 categories, providing valuable insights for prospective borrowers.

Unloan emerged as a standout, securing three awards, including Best Value Home Loan, Refinance Variable Home Loan, and Owner Occupier Principal & Interest Variable Home Loan. This recognition underscores Unloan's commitment to offering competitive rates and customer-centric products.

Other notable winners include Easy Street, Up, and Hume Bank, each taking out two categories. Up was recognised for Best Home Loan for First Home Buyers and Variable Home Loan with Offset, while Hume Bank excelled in the 1-Year Fixed Loan categories for both owner-occupiers and investors.

Macquarie Bank was honoured as the overall Provider of the Year for home loans and specifically for investor home loans, reflecting its strong performance and customer satisfaction. ING stood out as the leading provider for owner-occupier loans, winning the Provider of the Year award in that segment.

These awards are based on a comprehensive assessment of product data and customer satisfaction surveys, ensuring that the recognised lenders offer both value and quality service. For borrowers, this information serves as a valuable resource in selecting a mortgage product that aligns with their financial goals and needs.

In a year where every dollar counts, these award-winning products represent the best the Australian market has to offer, providing borrowers with options that combine competitive rates with excellent service.
