CFMOTO is set to make a significant impact on the Australian adventure motorcycle market with the upcoming release of its MY26 1000MT-X.
Scheduled to arrive in late May 2026, this model is priced competitively at $18,990 ride away, positioning it as an attractive option for riders seeking a high-performance adventure bike without the premium price tag.

The 1000MT-X is powered by a 946.2cc DOHC parallel-twin engine, delivering 83kW (111hp) at 8,500rpm and 105Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. This engine configuration ensures robust performance across various terrains, catering to both on-road touring and off-road escapades.

Key features of the 1000MT-X include:

  • Fully adjustable KYB suspension with a 48mm USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, providing a balanced and responsive ride.
  • Brembo braking system with dual 320mm discs and radial calipers at the front, complemented by a single 260mm disc at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power.
  • Advanced electronics suite featuring an 8-inch vertical full-colour TFT display, offering access to ride data, connectivity features, and navigation via the CFMOTO RIDE app.
  • Standard protection equipment, including a skid plate, handguards, and a chain guard, enhancing durability and rider safety.

To cater to a diverse range of riders, CFMOTO is also introducing the 1000MT-X LS (Low Suspension) variant, which offers a reduced seat height and slightly decreased suspension travel, making it more accessible to riders of varying statures.

In a strategic move to attract early adopters, CFMOTO Australia is offering two introductory accessory packs for purchases made before 30 June 2026:

  • Adventure Pack: Valued at $1,989, this pack focuses on long-distance touring enhancements, including a tall windscreen, alloy luggage system, and a top-case backrest.
  • Rally Pack: Valued at $1,859, this pack is tailored for off-road enthusiasts, featuring crash bars, an alloy skid plate, rally footpegs, and a dual-stage foam air filter.

With its combination of advanced features, competitive pricing, and tailored accessory options, the CFMOTO 1000MT-X is poised to be a formidable contender in Australia's adventure motorcycle segment.
