In a strategic move to make electric vehicle ownership more accessible, Subaru Australia has announced significant price reductions for its Solterra and Trailseeker electric SUVs.
Effective from 14 May 2026, these adjustments see prices lowered by up to $4,000 across both models.
The Solterra AWD now starts at $61,990, down from its previous price of $63,990, while the Solterra AWD Touring is priced at $67,990, reflecting a $2,000 reduction. Similarly, the Trailseeker AWD has been reduced by $4,000, bringing its starting price to $63,990.
These price cuts align Subaru's electric SUV offerings more closely with their Toyota bZ4X counterparts, enhancing competitiveness in the Australian EV market. The Solterra and Trailseeker are equipped with dual-motor all-wheel-drive systems, offering robust performance and substantial driving ranges, catering to the needs of environmentally conscious consumers seeking versatile and reliable electric vehicles.
Subaru's decision to adjust pricing underscores the brand's commitment to promoting sustainable transportation solutions and responding to the growing demand for affordable electric vehicles in Australia.
