New Zealand-based company Vessev is set to revolutionise water transport in Western Australia by introducing a fleet of electric hydrofoiling vessels on Perth's Swan River.
In partnership with the ENAUTIC Group, Vessev aims to provide a sustainable and efficient solution to the region's transportation needs.

The electric VS-9 hydrofoiling catamarans, designed and built in Auckland, are engineered to operate at high speeds without generating significant wake. This feature is particularly beneficial for the Swan River, where traditional vessels are often restricted by speed and wake limitations. By minimising wake, these vessels can travel faster without causing shoreline erosion or disrupting other water users.

The initial deployment will focus on premium services such as charters, wine cruises, and evening tours, catering to those seeking unique and eco-friendly experiences. Following this, Vessev plans to expand into more functional applications, including commuter routes, offering a viable alternative to traditional road transport and potentially reducing traffic congestion in Perth.

For potential boat buyers and marine enthusiasts, this development signifies a growing trend towards sustainable and innovative marine technologies. The introduction of electric hydrofoiling vessels not only showcases advancements in marine engineering but also highlights the increasing viability of eco-friendly alternatives in the boating industry.

In summary, Vessev's partnership with ENAUTIC Group to introduce electric hydrofoiling vessels on the Swan River represents a significant step forward in sustainable water transport. This initiative offers both environmental benefits and enhanced transportation options for the Perth community.
